Hot New Businesses on Oahu’s North Shore

The North Shore of Oahu is a little haven away from the bustling city of Honolulu. It’s known for its famous “Seven Mile Miracle,” which is seven miles of straight perfect waves, beaches, and coastline starting in Hale’iwa and ending up at Velzyland. There are endless waves to surf, beaches to explore, hikes, good food, and overall amazing vibes, which has made the North Shore a popular place for families and surfers to move to. To support the population growth, new businesses have been popping up on Oahu’s North Shore. We love supporting local businesses, so we hope you enjoy trying these new hot spots!

1. HI Pie Bakery & Cafe

HI Pie Bakery & Cafe offers pot pie, quiche, salads and sandwiches. The owner, Casey, recently transformed the space into a cozy and inviting cafe with comfortable seating that makes you want to sit down and enjoy your morning coffee. I recommend getting an oat milk latte and a slice of poi banana bread. HI Pie Bakery & Cafe is located in the Haleiwa Plantation Shops in Haleiwa, Hawaii.

2. The Den Pilates

The Den is a new pilates studio located up the hill in Pupukea. The Den classes offer a blend of yoga, pilates, stretch, strength, stabilization and mobility focused on functional fitness. The owner and lead instructor, Chelsey Lowe, created the space with a mission to continue to spread genuine health as far as she can. With 10 microformers in a beautiful setting, you can expect to enter in peace and leave feeling sweaty.

Song Ebbesen and Chef Allyee C have serendipitously come together to combine their superpowers and make a dream come true!

This beautiful gallery originally opened in Waikiki, but recently moved locations to the heart of downtown Haleiwa. Balanced Brew is a cute new coffee truck that recently opened on the Farm to Barn property in Haleiwa, and its coffee does not disappoint! Balanced Brew offers espresso drinks, a delicious chai latte, matcha, and signature drinks such as their Paradise Latte; a delicious blend of espresso, macadamia nut, and coconut. Balanced Brew is definitely a gem – go enjoy your coffee in the Farm to Barn outdoor space while listening to the live music.
