Are there new homes in Oahu? Good question, in today’s video we’ll give you a behind-the-scenes exclusive home tour of the master-planned community in Hoopili.

Hi Everyone, welcome back. My name is Fawn Bertram; I am a local Oahu Real Estate agent specializing in helping buyers and sellers find their dream home or sell one in Hawaii. If this is the first time stopping by, thank you so much! Let’s talk about Hoopili.

Hoopili

Hoopili is located in West Oahu between Ewa Beach and Kapolei. This master-planned community is being built by DR Horton Hawaii. This project will consist of nearly 12,000 homes. There will be 5 schools built, 3 elementary, 1 middle, and 1 high school. This is a pet-friendly community.

Kohina

As you enter the main entrance and gateway into Hoopili, the first set of homes you’ll see is Kohina. Which include the towering North and South Residences. Kohina is the first Transit-Oriented Development neighborhood, where you can walk to the rail stations. Residents in Hoopili will have access to three rail stations within its community.

Phase 1 of Kohina is complete. Phase 2 of Kohina is currently being built now. We’re being told there will be FLEX homes in this new phase.

Different Style Homes

Hoopili offers a variety of styles for every type of homeowner. The homes include single-family homes, some with ADU’s, townhomes, condos, FLEX homes with unique offerings and floor plans for each community.

You may be wondering what are FLEX homes or an ADU? FLEX homes allow residents to run a business from a home and live above it. An ADU is a separate living space attached to the home.

Within Hoopili there are also businesses and commercial spaces throughout.

Amenities at Hoopili

Hoopili’s amenities will include community centers, swimming pools, parks, open sitting areas, dog parks, playgrounds, and pavilions that all residents can enjoy. In the future, there will be grocery stores, dining, and entertainment within the neighborhood.

Hoopili has been designed with walking paths with large sidewalks, bike lanes, and Festival Street. Festival Street is a great way where the community comes together. This street can be closed off for events.

Festival Street

Hoopili held its first farmers market on Festival Street. It was a great turnout, there were craft tents, local businesses, food trucks, and of course local produce.

Building

Hoopii is currently building new homes at Kaikoi, Iliahi, and Kohina. These homes are held only by lottery. If you’re looking for a new home, these homes may be exactly what you’re looking for. We’d be happy to send over brochures and floor plans.
