What is the Historic Spencer House Project?

“Our business plan to preserve this remarkable resource as a community gathering place will start to take shape once we have gathered ideas from our community,” said Paul Johnston, one of the project volunteers.

Waimea Preservation Association volunteers are committed to a year-long exploratory effort to find ways to preserve this historic location and, as importantly, to serve the community in the best way.

The project team is open to all ideas and suggestions, and is actively seeking the community’s input, starting with an open meeting, a brainstorming session. Everyone is invited to the brainstorming session and there is no fee to participate.
