Historic A-Frame Hawaiian Design Home Featured on Dwell.com and Insider

We excited to share with you that Hawaii Life’s new listing at 4335 Kaikoo Place in Honolulu, by Noel Shaw, is featured on Dwell Magazine  and Insider.

The feature on Dwell.com  highlighted the uniqueness and historical value of this mid-century-modern home by showcasing 10 gorgeous images from this listing.  It also mentioned that this refreshed 1956 home comes with wide-open interiors, lava rock walls, and a lush backyard with an outdoor shower.

From the article:

“Located near the famed Diamond Head, Hawaii’s most recognized landmark, this midcentury-modern home was renovated and restored by its current owners to pay homage to its original A-frame Hawaiian design. Owned by Sophia Lin, interior designer and owner of DESIGNSILVERLAKE, and her husband, Dan Lin, (movie producer behind The Lego Movie franchise and the live action film Aladdin), the home features design elements that complement the original architecture built by George Pete Wimberly in 1956. The home is in the process of being nominated to be deemed an official historic home, due to its rare design by Wimberly.” – Noel Shaw
