Hawaii Life’s Got Talent – Ikebana Artistry

As you know, talent comes in many shapes and forms. At Hawaii Life, we have a diverse group of agents and staff, each gifted with their own passions, gifts, and talents. Our agents are professional and skilled Realtors, but they also have passions outside of real estate.

Case in point: Ada Mark. Ada recently showcased her talent at an Ikebana exhibition at Nordstrom’s Ala Moana.  Nordstrom’s Ala Moama

If you aren’t familiar with Ikebana, it’s basically Japanese flower arranging. But, in contrast to the Western habits of casually placing flowers in a vase, ikebana aims to bring out the inner qualities of flowers and other live materials to express emotion.

Ikebana has come a long way from its humble roots as temple offerings centuries ago. Today, it is a popular and innovative living art. One that is appreciated by both experts and novices.

Like many art forms, mastering the basics is fundamental. We believe Ada has mastered the basics well. Certainly, she has captured the spirit of the art and we couldn’t be more proud of her.

She’s got talent!
