Halloween Weekend and Wailea Condo Market Update

Aloha friends! We have lots of spooky themed events happening going into Halloween weekend. Several local elementary schools, churches and malls are celebrating Halloween with trick or treating and costume events. Additionally, Kihei 4th Friday this weekend is themed Haunted Block Party. Besides all the Halloween fun, Festivals of Aloha at Wailea is at the Four Seasons this weekend. And finally on Sunday night, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolf Tones perform at Mulligans on the Blue in Wailea.

Kihei 4th Friday Haunted Block Party

This 4th Friday will feature a keiki costume contest on the main stage as well as a few live music performances. Kihei 4th Friday town party takes place on the fourth Friday of every month. This is such a fun event for the family with over 20 food trucks and local retail vendors.

Derek Warfield & the Young Wolf Tones at Mulligan’s

Last but not least, if you are a fan of Irish music, you need to know that Derek Warfield & the Young Wolf Tones are playing Sunday night at Mulligan’s on the Blue in Wailea. If you have ever caught a show at Mulligan’s or celebrated St. Paddy’s there, you know this will be a good time.

Wailea Condo Market Update

With the focus of events being south side this weekend, I figured I’d give you a quick update on the Wailea Condo Market. Like the Kaanapali Condo market we looked at in last week’s blog, volume is also down this year in Wailea. However also like the Kaanapali market YTD, so is inventory. Year To Date, 109 Condos have sold in Wailea Makena. YTD average sales price is up YOY while average Days on Market is down. If this is what a bear market looks like, I will take it!
