Lehua and Ali’i Floor Plans at the Villages at the Mauna Lani Resort on the Kohala Coast

Recently my associate, Doug Goldstein, and I hosted a caravan of some of the choicest active listings in the Mauna Lani Resort; choice either because of the beauty of the properties or some of the best prices available for the resort. In this blog I will focus on the Villages at the Mauna Lani Resort. Blogs featuring other Mauna Lani Resort communities will be forthcoming.

The Villages

Within walking distance of the Shops at the Mauna Lani, the Villages were developed by Maryl Development in 2003. There are 129 condos on 29.87 acres, so pretty low density. The amenities include pool, Jacuzzi, exercise pavilion, BBQ, and kitchen. We saw two units, one I consider a best buy and the other elegantly appointed.

Lehua Floor Plan

  • Two story
  • 2,174 sq.ft. of living space
  • 3 bedrooms/3.5 baths
  • Best Buy offered at $769,000
  • (MLS# 247869)

The lanai is very private with gardens views. Escrow just cancelled – Seller says sell.

Ali’i Floor Plan

  • Single level
  • 2,558 sq. ft. of living area
  • 3 bedrooms/3.5 baths
  • Elegant Charmer offered at $1,695,000
  • (MLS# 245887)

Private heated pool with spa for gracious living

Spacious, well appointed kitchen

Both of these units are being offered fully furnished and residents are eligible for the Mauna Lani Advantage program and the beach club. This is a gated community – perfect for a second home or vacation rental.

Next in the series of Mauna Lani Resort blogs will highlight some of the things to do and places to go in the resort.

A Hui Hou,
Sharon

Mahalo Sharon! Buyers of mine selected a Kahili unit, (like the Alii’s you mention with their own pool and detached), at The Villages rather than a home at Mauna Kea just for the reason you mention; that they could walk to the shops at Mauna Lani, grab coffee, etc. Don’t you just love the deluxe, yet easy care finish-work of The Villages? You can just feel how “sturdy” they are, yet still so beautiful!!! Looking forward to your future posts about Mauna Lani!

The Villages are very private yet you are so close to everything you expect at a resort.

The other thing to mention about the Lehua floor plan is that even though it is two-story, there is a bedroom on the first floor, which is a criterion for some buyers.

You are absolutely right Beth. A bedroom on the first floor is very attractive to many buyers. Thanks Beth.

Sharon,
Thanks for posting these two units. The Villages are so close to all of the Mauna Lani amenities.
The islands Best Steak at Ruth’s Chris, Norio’s Monstera sushi restaurant, Tommy Bahama’s where you can eat lunch and then walk downstairs and buy your dinner outfit. The Villages in my opinion, are one of the best values on the island. Thanks again for blogging about this subject

Sharon and Doug – big mahalos for setting up the caravan for our Big Island Hawaii Life Team! It’s always a blast to get out and see the inventory – even more fun when we do it as a group!

It was fun, wasn’t it. I, too, enjoyed seeing all the great inventory and some real deals also. Glad you were able to make it, Katie.
