Christmas in Volcano, Hawaii – An Artist’s Ideal Place for a Holiday Vacation

We started out early that morning. Women on a mission to collect our flowers for our Christmas wreaths. The mist gently embraced the ohia trees and the forest was still. We could hear the birds chatter as if we had disturbed their rest. The smell of fireplaces made us feel like Christmas was truly upon us. The sun started to peek out and cast its rays through the tall trees, just what we expected to see in the magical Village of Volcano.

Volcano, Hawaii: An Artist’s Home

Volcano Village is a small village that seems to be where many artists call home. Hydrangea’s grow along side the road as if they were a wild flower. If you have never visited the village, you must. The ideal would be to spend the night in one of the many lodges and vacation rentals available. Be careful though, you will fall in love.
