Celebrating the 2012 Holiday Season on Kauai

Bring it home for the holidays~

My amazing family: My husband, Dave, married 35 years and our 2 incredible kids, Justin & Alana

Brief History of Christmas in Hawaii

First off I would like to share with you a little history about Christmas in Hawaii. “The Hawaiian people did not celebrate Christmas prior to the arrival of Captain Cook in 1778. It was, however, the protestant missionaries from New England who first arrived in 1820 who first introduced Christmas to the Hawaiian people.”

Happy Holidays to You and Your Loved Ones

Each week we write our blogs about what is happening in our real estate market. We do our best to share our information and get the coconut wireless in full swing. This week I am simply going to put a shout out to everyone and wish you a peaceful holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

Mele Kalikimaka me ka Hau’oli Makahiki Hou – Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I hope your new year will be filled with good health and happiness, dreams in motion, cherished new memories, treasured moments, rainbows…and, of course, chocolate. May you be surrounded by people you love and your heart be full of joy.

I hope you take action on your bucket list. Go Big! May you always be true to yourself and like that person in the mirror. As the song says, “I hope you dance.” More than ever…I wish you laughter and smiles all year round. May you have passion in your life and all that you do~

Living the dream on the islands is an unparallelled experience if you have not yet had the opportunity to do so. Holidays are most often spent with friends at or on the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
Happy Holidays to all of us! See you on the water Ms. Carol!!!
