Casa En Maui Closes as the Highest Residential Sale To Date on Maui in 2025
I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to help represent Casa En Maui, a truly exceptional beachfront estate on Keawakapu Beach that just closed at $28.56 million, making it the highest residential sale on Maui so far this year.
To say this one was memorable would be an understatement. Casa En Maui is one of those rare properties that feels like a living work of art. Designed by the late Ricardo Legorreta, the residence is situated on 0.87 acres of oceanfront land with 100+ feet of beachfront lanai. The home features 21,692 square feet of living space, a 9,885-square-foot lanai, 8 bedrooms, 8 full and 2 half bathrooms and a caretaker’s residence.. Every corner of the home speaks to peace, privacy, and a deep reverence for natural beauty.

It was an honor to co-list the property alongside my friend and Hawai‘i Life CEO, Matt Beall, and to work with our partners at Concierge Auctions, who helped bring this extraordinary home to market with global reach and precision.
In a market where top-tier luxury homes can linger for nearly a year (the 2025 Luxury Homes Index from Concierge found the average Days on Market for Maui’s luxury listings in 2024 was 339 days), the sellers chose to take a more strategic route — going straight to auction. That decision led to a successful sale in just 60 days.
Adam Weiss, former hedge fund manager and co-founder of Scout Capital, and his wife Barret Swatek, a talented actress known for roles in Yellowstone and Awkward, were ready to start a new chapter. They wanted certainty in their timeline, and they got it.

As the Seller shared in a statement, “The auction process was efficient and expeditious, giving us a guaranteed outcome in 60 days which was important to our family as we move on to our next chapter.”
This is exactly why I love collaborating with Concierge Auctions. “The beauty of an auction is that it guarantees a date-certain outcome, something traditional sales methods alone can’t offer,” said CEO Chad Roffers in a press release. “Yesterday, everyone achieved their goals—buyer, seller, agents, and Hawai‘i now has a new homeowner.”
I’ve had the privilege of discovering the many layers of this home over time, and I know the new owners will find their own sense of wonder as they settle into this truly one-of-a-kind place.

I appreciate everyone involved, from our incredible team at Hawai‘i Life to the talented folks at Concierge. It’s not every day you get to be part of a sale like this, and I’m grateful for the trust and collaboration that made it possible.
