Moving To Hawaii

Calling All Snowbirds!

The more snowbirds I meet and work with, the more I understand why Canadians love Hawaii so much. They understand Aloha. It makes perfect sense how this is your home away from home! We locals love having Canadians visit, most likely for this reason! It just flows.

When coming for up to 6 months at a time, it is important to not only be where you love (I am a huge proponent of home being your sanctuary), but also being financially savvy while taking an extended stay vacation. Hotel rates can be astonishingly high as well as renting a short-term rental. It makes sense for many to invest in a short-term rental themselves to have a secured, guaranteed place to stay of their own when they come to the islands. Not to mention the ROI while you are away. Of course, you have to know which buildings have a good ROI, lower maintenance fees (if you choose a condo) and allow for nightly rentals. That is where the pros come in!

If you have been dabbling with the idea of owning on the islands, do not hesitate to reach out — whether buying a home or here for a short visit — I would love to help guide you in the right direction.
