Don’t Want to be Bothered by Telemarketers?
Not that it’s a bad thing, but I hate to receive an unwanted or unasked for phone call. Yes, I’m a salesperson, but I don’t include cold calling as part of my business model. For some it works, for me it doesn’t. Remember the saying…Do unto others as you would want done unto you…or something like that?!
So, since I don’t do it, I don’t like it done to me, so I just posted my numbers on the National Do Not Call Directory. I’ve thought about doing it for a while but never actually remembered to do it until I put it on my list of things to do today.
How to Get Your Number(s) on the National Do Not Call List
It was so quick and easy and took me less than a minute to do online. All you need to do is:
- Visit the National Do Not Call Directory
- Input up to 3 phone numbers and your email address
- Receive a verification link for all phone numbers
Follow these simple steps and you’re done. I’m looking forward to not receiving any more “blocked” or “unknown caller” calls, unless you are looking to buy or sell, of course!
