Tuesday was one of the most enjoyable days I have had in a long time showing property. The first property (MLS# 241049) is listed by our very own Beth Robinson—what an informed property tour she gave. The charming cottage is more than charming, it is delightful.
We walked the perimeter of the property getting eyefuls of beauty in every direction…pasture, vegetable garden, tractors, windmill, cow, and best friend the horse, ocean view, and tree lined entry. No doubt this enchanted property will sell quickly!
This kitchen brings a smile to my face
Our next property (MLS# 237959) is another amazing property. 187+ acres consisting of pasture lands with cattle, wooden areas, 2 gulches, and the largest banyan tree I have ever seen. The property has its own beach cove and approximately 100′ of shoreline.
We drove or walked the entire parcel spending over 3 hours viewing it. At one point, I felt like I was on the movie set for Out of Africa. We actually drove through a herd of cattle. Now, I am originally a city gal, so this was a huge leap of faith on my part. My clients all seemed okay, as if it was the most natural thing to do.
The seller is just as amazing as the property and seemed as one with the ‘aina. I would like to share some of her incredible photography.
There are two types of tropic birds—red-tail (Koa’e’ula) and a white-tail (Koa’e’kea)
The tail in this photograph is not visible, so I am not sure whether this bird is a Koa’e’ula or a Koa’e’kea. The story is that these birds fly over schools of Mahi Mahi hoping to snatch the bait food that the Mahi Mahi are feeding on.
What is a banyan tree?
