Ālia 888 Ala Moana: Sustainable Luxury / 地球にやさしいラグジュアリー

I am excited to share one of the newest and most exciting projects that began accepting owner-occupants in Kakaako — Ālia at 888 Ala Moana! It is one of the most advanced projects by long-time developer Kobayashi Group, the same local family-owned company that brought us such masterpieces as Hokua, One Ala Moana, and of course, Park Lane.

The concept of “Sustainable Luxury” ruled from the design and planning stages. They will lift the land’s elevation, and orient the building and lanai configurations to take advantage of the prevailing trade winds and solar patterns to naturally cool the building. This will reduce air-conditioning expenses and maintenance fees, to be further mitigated with a cutting-edge gray water recapture and treatment system that can be used for chilled air as well as landscaping irrigation.

サステナブル・ラグジュアリーとは環境に配慮しながらも最高品質をお届けすること。企画の段階から自然の力を取り入れ貿易風や太陽の特徴を最大限活用できるようにビルの方位やラナイのデザインを決定、土地全体をかさ上げしてより安全を確保し、グレー・ウォーター（洗面所や洗濯機の使用済みの水）を回収・トリートメントして冷房や植物の給水コストを抑制します。

The Specs

Alia is slated to be a 39-story structure comprised of 483 residential (1, 2,& 3BR) units (40 reserved), a 6-story parking structure with extensive PV panels, one commercial property, and an envy-provoking plethora of amenities from multiple pools to barbecue cabanas, private dining rooms, dog runs, fitness options, karaoke room, and bowling!

39階建てのビルは483の戸数（含む40 Reserved）からなり、6階建ての駐車場の屋根にはPVパネルが設置される予定。豊富なアメニティーはリストしきれないですが複数のプールやバーべキュースペース、プライベート・ダイニングルーム、ドッグ・ラン、フィットネス・オプション各種、カラオケルームやボーリングまであります！

Trendy, Hip, Walkable Kakaako

As many of you know, Kakaako is now one of most vibrant communities where you can walk or bike almost anywhere from Waikiki to downtown Honolulu, with an ever-growing selection of restaurants and shopping opportunities. Hawaii’s abundant natural resources are right there, too, like the ocean and Ala Moana Park, and we’re only a short drive to many beautiful hiking trails.
