Quality Country Home For Sale in Desirable Mokuloa Subdivision in Waimea-Kamuela

Aloha! I recently previewed some homes in Waimea for a mainland client and I thought this was a cute house (MLS# 242711) in a great neighborhood of Mokuloa Subdivision.

This custom home on one acre was designed and built by a contractor as his personal family home

Quality craftsmanship and detail has been incorporated into the planning to afford comfortable living areas, a large wrap-around covered lanai, and a huge 3 car enclosed garage. The garage is designed to allow for today’s full-size, 4 door, long bed pickup, or provide lots of work space and storage.

Here’s a video preview I took of the exterior to interior of this home:

What stood out for me here were the cozy living areas that were formal, yet intimate. The kitchen was so beautiful—I loved the U-shaped feeling walking into it, along with the black granite and light colored cabinets, they all really complemented each other well. I could see myself entertaining guests and people dwelling in many different areas while food was being served in the kitchen on the breakfast bar overlooking the family room.

There are two living areas with fireplaces in this home. The great room near the front entrance has lots of natural light, and space for entertaining guests and family. The family room near the kitchen is much more cozy and offers a more intimate setting to warm the hearth.

This home is nestled in the desirable neighborhood of Mokuloa Subdivision—within minutes of Waimea town and schools, and is situated in an area where there is good sunlight and gorgeous Mauna Kea views. The area does tend to be in the clouds sometimes, being near the mountain backdrop—but this home seemed to be in a dryer area, closer to the highway, but not near the highway.

Here’s more video (below) of the interior of this cute home. I really took my time looking at this property—the design of the home had a nice flow to it and the different living areas made this property a very family-oriented home, and I could see a young family enjoying the quality of life here at Mokuloa.

Of course, my favorite room upstairs was the master suite with the master bathroom being the feature of this room (besides the spacious bedroom and walk-in closet). The large tub and natural light coming through the bay windows were very inviting, and the feeling of quality in a relaxing environment was felt in this room and throughout the rest of the home.

As I viewed this property, it was about 5:30 p.m.—6:00 p.m. in the evening, and the sun setting in this area was so beautiful. Here’s the video of an evening set at this cute property:

If you would like a video tour of any property that you may be interested in, please let me know and I would be happy to tour and video preview the properties for you! I look forward to showing you the Big Island and hearing from you soon!

Blessings Always~
