Hilo Residents Enjoy the Merrie Monarch Parade

Owning a Hilo home or condo has many benefits, including the annual Merrie Monarch Parade which took place in April. The day of the parade was a bit rainy, but it was worth seeing all the pagentry in downtown Hilo.

If you’d like to enjoy these festivities as a Hilo resident, there are a couple of new listings in the Hilo area that I like.

  1. Waiaka Homesteads (MLS# 234270) featuring expansive views of Hilo and the Ocean.
  2. The Botanical Estate (MLS# 233994) on 3.86 acres includes a salt water pool is definitely worth seeing in Kaiwiki.

The picture of the sailors looks like something out of the movie South Pacific.
