During the months of April, May, June, July, and August 2015, Lahaina Shores underwent extensive, comprehensive restoration of the plumbing including water pipes and the horizontal drains and system. The property is expected to welcome its first guest s starting September 15, 2015. In addition to the water lines and sewage disposal piping, other items were addressed while the building was shut down. There is no special assessment, however, the monthly fees have been adjusted to cover the expense of the repairs. Lahaina Shores is a condotel located on Front Street directly facing the ocean. As a condotel, owners may participate in vacation rental ownership through the management company that operates both the major portion of the vacation rentals as well as managing the front desk and consulting with the Association of Apartment Owners. You may also select your own management company, independently, or you may operate as a vacation rental by owner (VRBO), or you may live on the property as a resident, keep it as a second home, or rent it as a long term rental. Parking is available for a fee. There is no assigned parking, but there is ground-level parking on the street side, and parking under the adjacent property at 505 Front Street. For those who wish to avoid renting a car, there is a bus at 505 Front Street and monthly passes are available at attractive rates. Shops and restaurants are located adjacent to Lahaina Shores at 505 Front Street.
