Volcano Golf and Country Club

Volcano Golf and Country Club subdivision is a hidden gem offering a relaxing and scenic residential community in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. The subdivision is surrounded by lush rainforests and offers stunning views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. It is an ideal location for anyone who loves the great outdoors, with easy access to hiking trails, a beautiful golf course, bird watching and other recreational activities.

The Volcano Golf and Country Club subdivision is located near the entrance of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which is home to two active volcanoes: Kilauea and Mauna Loa. The park attracts millions of visitors every year who come to witness the breathtaking natural beauty of the lava flows and craters. The subdivision is a niche Volcano neighborhood located at about 4000 ft. elevation with some of the best weather on the island. It is generally sunny and approximately 10-15 degrees cooler at any given time than temperatures near the ocean.

The centerpiece of the subdivision is the Volcano Golf and Country Club, which is an 18-hole golf course designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course has been recognized as one of the top golf courses in Hawaii and is known for its challenging layout and stunning scenery. Golfers of all skill levels can enjoy playing on this course, which has hosted numerous professional and amateur tournaments over the years.

The Volcano Golf and Country Club subdivision is also located near many other attractions and amenities. The town of Volcano is just a few minutes away and offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and galleries. One of my favorite places for dinner is the Kilauea Lodge with full bar and farm-to-table offerings. Famous Southpoint is just a short drive as is the famous Papakolea Green Sand Beach. Hilo, the largest city on the Big Island, is about a 40-minute drive away and offers even more options for airport access, shopping, dining, and entertainment.
