Thanksgiving Appreciation for Our Kaiwi Coast Cleanup Volunteers

A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful volunteers from Hawaii Life and our community, who joined us on Sunday, November 23, 2025, to help clean up the Kaiwi Coast roadways during the annual Hui Nalu Kaiwi Coast Run Walk on Oahu.

We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and commitment; many of them set their alarms exceptionally early at 4:45 AM to make a difference.

Collectively, they achieved something truly remarkable, removing approximately 30 bags of rubbish from our roadways and ocean. This significant amount of garbage speaks volumes about the impact we can make when we work together. The tremendous success of the cleanup was a direct result of their hard work and efforts.

We hope the photos we’ve included help capture the spirit of aloha and success of their efforts. We thank them for their contribution, which directly helped preserve the beauty of our environment.
