Wave of Harmony Foundation presents Harmony Under the Stars at the Wailea Golf Club this Saturday night, offering a magical night of live music and community celebration under Maui’s beautiful open sky. Acclaimed Broadway and local artists will come together to deliver an unforgettable night of music, storytelling, and shared purpose. The event benefits local youth arts education programs, making it not only entertaining but also impactful for the island. Guests will enjoy a pre-show dinner by Gather on Maui. This is a 21+ event and starts at 5:30 pm.
Jai Wolf: Club Baba Tour
Jai Wolf is bringing his Club Baba Tour to da Playground Maui this Friday night. Acclaimed electronic music producer and DJ, Jai Wolf is known for his melodic, genre-blending soundscapes that captivate audiences worldwide. Special guests Dice Game, Kerrazy, and Pash Sean. Showtime and doors open at 9 pm. Advanced tickets from $25 with optional VIP and bottle add-ons.
Beginning Ulana Lauhala with Kuba
The Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is hosting Beginning Ulana Lauhala with Kuba this Saturday morning. The workshop runs 9 am – 12:30 pm. Cultural practitioner Gail Kuba will lead the sessions. Attendees will learn the basics start to finish, including gathering the green lau, making tools to clean and dethorn the lau, using lemon and sun to bleach the lau, softening the fibers and finally the simple weaving of two ornaments and a three-strand bracelet. Attendees will be able to take home the boiled lau to lay in the sun for a week and start weaving with.
Black Grace: Paradise Rumor
Black Grace will take the stage of the Castle Theater at the MACC this Sunday night bringing you Black Grace: Paradise Humor. Renowned dance company from New Zealand, Black Grace is celebrated for their vibrant performances that fuse Pacific and contemporary dance styles. Showtime is 7:30 pm.
Makana: Lei Kukui
The MACC presents Makana: Lei Kukui this Saturday night in the McCoy Studio. Performance begins at 7:30 pm, offering an evening filled with soulful Hawaiian music. Makana is renowned for his mastery of slack key guitar, blending traditional Hawaiian sounds with innovative influences to create a unique and captivating musical experience.
