Pahi Kaua Workshop with Kumu Kukini Sawa
Maui Nui Botanical Gardens presents the Pahi Kaua Workshop. There will be a morning and afternoon session led by Kumu Kukini Sawa this Saturday. Participants will learn about and make a pahi kaua. A pahi kaua is a Hawaiian war knife made from the bill of a swordfish. This will be a really cool workshop!
7th Annual Holiday Fair & Electric Golf Cart Parade
The Pukalani Community Association presents the 7th Annual Holiday Fair & Electric Golf Cart Parade this Saturday from 4 – 7 pm. This is a free event for the community at the Pukalani Country Club. There will be activities for the kids, a visit by Santa, food and hot chocolate as well as other beverages. Decorate golf carts then enjoy the parade.
Sunset Sundays
Mana’o Radio presents Sunset Sundays at Ocean Organic Farm and Distillery. This is a recurring event taking place every first Sunday of the month. Show from 4 – 7 pm. Featured artists this weekend are Dayan Kai, Danyel Alana and Lo Wolf. Tickets $10 and reservations are recommended.
Movie Night Under the Stars – You’ve Got Mail
Sugar Beach Events presents Movie Night Under the Stars this Sunday night. The featured movie is You’ve Got Mail. Bring your blanket or beach chairs and enjoy the movie under the stars. Food and drinks will be available for sale. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Get there early so you can set up a good viewing spot. Click here for event info and reservations.
Maui Pops Orchestra – Holiday Pops
The Maui Pops Orchestra presents Holiday Pops this Sunday afternoon at the MACC’s Castle Theater. This will be an afternoon of Christmas classics and holiday favorites. The featured vocalist is Scarlet Strallen. Scarlet Strallen is a renowned British actress and singer, celebrated for her performances in musical theater both in London’s West End and on Broadway. Show starts at 3:00 pm. Pre-concert food and beverage available from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
