Maui Weekend Events – Dec 12

Aloha friends! If you’re looking for ways to make the most of your weekend on Maui, you’re in luck—there’s a vibrant lineup of activities and events perfect for families, friends, and solo adventurers alike. From hands-on holiday workshops and festive performances to live music and community gatherings, this weekend offers something for everyone to enjoy. Wreath Making with Native Hawaiian Plants

The Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is hosting Wreath Making with Native Hawaiian Plants. There will be 2 sessions this Saturday. Morning session runs 9 am – 12 pm. Afternoon session from 1 – 4 pm. Attendees can create either a live wreath that can be watered to grow outdoors for months to years or cut green and dried native plants that will require no further maintenance.

The Nutcracker

Alexander Academy presents The Nutcracker. There will be one presentation this Saturday and two on Sunday.  Saturday’s show starts at 6:30 pm. On Sunday, the showtimes are 12:30 and 4:30 pm. Pre-concert food and beverage available in the Yokouchi Courtyard two hours prior to showtime.

Hui Holidays Santa Workshop 2025

Hui Noe’eau presents the Hui Holidays Santa Workshop 2025 this Saturday. Event from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. This will be festive fun for all ages. Attendees can create free keiki crafts and shop the Ceramic Studio Sale. Local food trucks on site and a visit from Santa also on the ticket. Suggested donation $5 per car.

Sundays in the Country

AG Presents and Casanova Makawao present the Aloha Music Series Sundays in the Country at Casanova Makawao. The featured artist this week is Sgt Splendor. The series celebrates the history of live performances at Casanova’s in Makawao every Sunday from 1 – 3 pm. Doors open at 11:30 am. Tickets $20.

Women Rock – Holiday Edition!

deVine Wine Lounge Maui presents Women Rock! this Sunday from 2 to 9 pm. This will be a great event to honor talented and amazing women on Maui. Live performances by Sara Jelley, Cheryl Rae, and Natalie Robles. Pop-ups for women run businesses on Maui featuring art, jewelry and health and wellness items will be on hand throughout the event. Rose’ specials from 3 – 8 pm. Head down for a fun event that supports women!
