Living in the Heart of Kaka’ako & Things to Do

What is there NOT to do in the heart of Kaka’ako? From Farmers Markets to some of Oahu’s best restaurants to being steps away from the beach, the options are endless.

SALT at Our Kaka’ako features some of Hawaii’s best local restaurants like 1938 Indochine, Moku Kitchen, and much more. We can’t forget about the favorite local coffee shop: ARVO. Not in the mood to go out or prefer cooking at home, H-Mart and Down to Earth are ready for you.

Ranked #3 in the USA, the Kaka’ako’s Farmers Market is always a must. Get there early to beat the heat and the crowd. People come from all over the island to enjoy the various vendors. Visit every Saturday from 8am-12pm to see and taste for yourself!

And lastly, we can’t forget about Ward Village. From local boutiques to Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx. Here you can shop ’til you drop, followed by a delicious meal and drinks at Merriman’s, a favorite farm-to-table restaurant. Bonus: most places are dog-friendly here.
