Hawai‘i Life Welcomes Jovanna Fern and Announces Key Leadership Appointments
Hawai’i Life is pleased to welcome Jovanna Fern to the sales team. Growth has always been tied closely to the people behind the brand at Hawai’i Life. As the company expands, experienced agents and leaders continue to step into roles that strengthen the brokerage while supporting both clients and colleagues throughout the state.
Welcoming Jovanna Fern

Born and raised in Lanikai, Jovanna focuses on historic and architecturally significant homes. She brings a strong appreciation for design and provenance to her work, representing many of Hawai‘i’s notable residents and working with a distinguished clientele.

Before entering real estate, Jovanna worked in philanthropic fundraising, where she was required to navigate high-level conversations with diplomacy and strategy. She is a Punahou alumni and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Skidmore College. After living in Madrid and New York City, she returned home to Hawai‘i where she now lives with her husband, Dr. Dylan Fern, and their two daughters. Jovanna currently serves on the Board of Directors for Adventist Health Castle Medical Center in Kailua and keeps busy with her interests in interior design, art collecting, and her equestrian endeavours, including winning a collegiate polo National Championship in 2002.
In recent months, Hawai‘i Life added several additional agents across the islands as the brokerage continues to grow its statewide presence.
Strengthening the Leadership Team
On Kauaʻi, Palo Luckett has assumed the position of Principal Broker. A Hawai‘i real estate professional for over two decades, he has experience in several island markets and brings a history of leadership within the field.

Luckett’s professional connection with Hawai‘i Life CEO Matt Beall dates back to the early 2000s on Kauai’s North Shore, when Luckett held the a Principal Broker. Most recently, he held the position of Immediate Past President of the Kaua‘i Board of Realtors. Hawai‘i Life also recognizes the leadership and mentorship of Rhonda Hay, whose guidance has helped prepare Palo and others across the brokerage to take on greater responsibilities.
Alex Abreu, will continue serving as Broker-in-Charge on Maui while also stepping into the role of Weekend Broker for the firm.

In this capacity, Abreu will provide contract review and guidance for agents throughout Hawai‘i Life’s statewide network during weekends. He has completed in-depth contract training with senior brokers including Roy Vandoorn, Rhonda Hay, and Jeff Simon.
Adam Snyder has been named Director of Agent Success and Innovation. In this role, Adam focuses on supporting agent training and helping drive adoption of the company’s technology platforms, while also assisting in the development of internal systems used throughout the brokerage.

Together, these appointments reflect Hawai‘i Life’s continued investment in leadership and operational support for its statewide network of agents.
