Actually like the tiki torch wielding guy, geologists consider Mauna Kea to be the tallest mountain in the world. See link below

Actually, Mauna Kea is the tallest mountain in the world from below sea level. Everest is the tallest from above sea level…just a little FYI :)

FirstOf All, My Husband Is Hawaiian. WeLived On Maui And Recently MovEd BacK Too The Mainland. WeUsually Love Watching The Show, But Over Thing We Get Frustrated WithIs All The Miss Pronunciation Of The Names Of Towns And Street Names. Like WAilea…The Guy On S2Ep12 Kept Saying WAi-leia. It
Was Horrible. What’s Up With Showing The Coastlines On The Mainland In The Intro?! Crazy.

Aloha Leisa — please note that the show is created by HGTV and not Hawaii Life. With that said, we had the exact same complaints. We have voiced these issues to HGTV. For season 3, we will be allowed to review episodes and report mistakes like this. Whether all mistakes will be corrected we do not know.
