Big Island

Kona Chocolate Festival Saturday, Oct. 15th, 2011

Does it get any better than this? Did you know that Hawaii is the only state in these United States that grows cacoa and makes its own local chocolate? Combine that with 19 incredible chefs from Kona up the Kohala Coast, and you have a recipe for incredible yummy-ness! This is a beloved yearly event, and if you haven’t yet tried it, you are missing a serious taste bud extravaganza!

Come join the chocolaty fun in Kona this Saturday!

Big mahalos go out to Julie Ziemelis, who took over the marketing and promotion of this event only three weeks ago, and has helped keep together one of the best local festivals on island.

Come to Kailua-Kona this weekend—it’s at the Sheraton Keauhou, where there is plenty of parking and special room rates for $99, just in case you have one too many chocolate martinis!!
