On Tuesday night, April 5th, those of us who attended were treated to a feast of the senses—the music, the color, the dancing…fabulous! A fundraiser for Hawaii Performing Arts Festival’s 2011 season, the five musicians were funny, sad, gleeful, thoughtful, and oh-so talented.
The dancers changed clothes no less than five times, each more gorgeous than the last. At the end, I felt like I could dance tango! But of course, there are a lot of things that I think I can do…instead, we enjoyed another perfect evening on the Big Island’s Kohala Coast. Culture, warm weather, good friends…How does it get better than this?

@Catherine – you are so right, we’re so lucky! I never knew that I would enjoy Tango so much, it’s not anything I’d been exposed to in the past – outside of Spain, but that’s really Flamenco, not Tango, I think?? Next time, you should come with us!
