Beachfront Oahu Condos Under $100K – Makaha Valley Condos and Townhomes

Can you really buy fee-simple beachfront condos on Oahu for under $100k?  Surprisingly, the answer is yes.

Take a look at these photos I took recently from a condo (MLS# 1006523) listed for $85,000 at the Makaha Surfside:

In addition to these beachfront condos along Farrington Highway at the Makaha Surfside, there are some amazing values nestled farther into Makaha Valley.

Makaha Valley Plantation, for instance, currently has 2-bedroom resort townhomes priced from $87,000-$176,000, while the gargantuan Makaha Valley Towers has condominiums of all sizes (studio apartments through 2-bedroom units) with incredible valley and ocean views  listed between $104,900-$250,000.

Makaha is one of the few areas on Oahu that hasn’t been over-developed and retains a true paradise look and feel. Waianae Mall Shopping Center is just a short drive away for your basic needs, and the bustling city of Kapolei is about a twenty minute commute for work or “big-box” shopping. Makaha thus makes for a great community in which to live or purchase a second home.

What areas are safe for seniors and close to good military base commissary facilities?

We are also wondering how much the condo fees are in HI?

Thank you.
