Kalihiwai Ridge and Namahana Farms are two of the most “mauka” (towards the mountains) subdivisions on Kauai’s north shore. They’re also some of the nicest neighborhoods on the island. Despite being “mauka”, it’s only 10 minutes down the hill to Kalihiwai Bay and Anini Beach. I’ll confess that I’m biased, since Kalihiwai Ridge is home for me.
