Prime Kona Coffee Farm Opportunity

If you have been dreaming of owning a Coffee Farm in Kona, now might be your chance.

Old style South Kona coffee farm with Pacific Ocean views

A 15-acre coffee farm with three homes (MLS# 233933) has just come on the market for $299,000. The owners have averaged $70,000 gross in coffee cherry (fresh picked unprocessed coffee) over the last 5 years. Coffee cherry sells currently for just under $2 a pound. If you do the drying and roasting yourself, Kona Coffee is fetching between $15 and $30 a pound.

This is an old style farm and the homes aren’t glamorous, but it is in the heart of South Kona with views of the Pacific Ocean. It’s location on the main highway means easy access for curious tourists and coffee lovers alike. As leasehold farm, the terms of the lease will not allow for financing so cash is king, but the asking price was adjusted accordingly. Check out my blog on leasehold farms if you are unfamiliar with leasehold property terms.

I anticipate this Kona Coffee Farm will sell quickly. Please contact me today for your private tour.

Wow, that seems like a good price….What should I buy? A 15 acre coffee farm or 2 bedroom condo? Kind of a no brainer. I had to do a double take on the price so I pulled up the listing. Somebody better gobble that one up.
