Happy 1st Birthday Big Island Hawaii Life!

Traditionally in Hawaii, we hold enormous first birthday luaus and as Broker-in-Charge of Big Island Sales, this would have been my responsibility to plan on behalf of the company. I say “would have” because the truth is, the one-year anniversary of our first transaction closing on the Big Island has come and gone without fanfare. Apparently we’ve been too busy providing superior customer service to our very satisfied clients and customers to notice.

In the past twelve months, Hawaii Life Big Island assisted 20 Sellers in conveying their property and moving on with their lives. It’s an honor—during what is certain to be remembered as one of the most difficult real estate markets in history—to have been of service to people and making a difference in their lives. Perhaps someday we’ll write a book and tell all the “stories” about this market, right now it’s still a little too fresh and for some, painful.

Buyers have been understandably really, really, really happy these past twelve months and it has been our supreme pleasure to have participated in 39 closed transactions on the Big Island. That’s more than 39 families, groups of friends, couples and individuals who made a smart choice to invest in their Hawaii Life this year! I love my Hawaii life and it’s such a thrill to witness others executing theirs!!

For those of you wanting the raw statistics, our team of 11 Hawaii Life agents (who closed a transaction in the past 12 months) represented 20 sellers, 39 buyers, $30M+ in dollar volume and landed at #12 out of 266 offices on island. Our top producer, Beth Thoma-Robinson, R(S) was #21 out of 935 agents who closed a transaction on the Big Island last year.

Hau’oli la Hanau, Hawaii Life Big Island!

It’s really an incredible testament to all your hard work… that you’ve basically “come out of nowhere” (quite literally) and had the incredible success that you have. We’re honored, humbled, and grateful. Big MAHALOS to the BI crew for all that you do.
