Inter-Island Hawaii Ferries

- Maui-Lanai Expeditions Route: Follows a regular schedule between Lahaina on Maui and Manele Bay on Lanai. Tour packages are available for Lanai.
Helpful Hints For Inter-Island Travel
- Most inter-island plane flights go through Honolulu Airport. When boarding your flight, check if there are any stopovers or connections, especially if you are using an airline searching website like Expedia or Kayak.
- To get the best prices, go directly to the website for each airline. If you buy the tickets by phone or at the airline counter you will have to pay an extra $10 to $25 or more.
- The inter-island ferries that travel between Maui and Lanai, and between Maui and Molokai, cross ocean channels that are sometimes quite rough. You may want to bring along some motion sickness remedies.
