Raised on Maui, Anna attended Haleakalā School and Seabury Hall before graduating from UC San Diego. Her father, John Severson—artist, surfer, and founder of Surfer Magazine—moved the family to Maui in the early 1970s, instilling a lifelong appreciation for art, nature, and ocean culture.
Anna spent nearly a decade living and working in Paris, eventually becoming the Art Buyer for Yves Saint Laurent. She returned home in 2003 and now lives in West Maui, where she and her family are also involved in a textile business designing aloha shirts for Japanese and Hawaiian brands.
Anna is a member of Hawai‘i Life and Forbes Global Properties, connecting her clients to a global audience while maintaining a grounded, Kama‘āina approach to service.

I’m having trouble putting this on the Zillow thing because maybe it’s too many words I don’t know but I guess they’re a bunch of butt heads how can I get this out on Zillow so it tells about the experience I had with you. What should I do should I put this on the website? ... you are the oracle of real estate on Maui.
It is hard to speak highly enough of how great it was to work with Anna. I was immediately impressed by her deep knowledge of the Maui real estate market (and Puamana in particular). Additionally, Anna had the answer to every question I could think of and was consistently available to give that answer. I was never left waiting, never had to call her twice, and never felt like she was not 100% focused on our deal. Anna represented me, as the buyer, as well as the seller. All parties were very happy with the deal that we arrived at. Throughout the negotiation and escrow Anna was extremely well organized and timely, with step-by-step instructions and timelines that were invaluable to me as I navigated the purchasing process while working full time.
