Teri Takata

I was born and raised in Patterson California and consider myself a small town girl. I spent a year in Germany as an exchange student and graduated from the University of Redlands in southern California where I finally experienced "city" living. I moved to Hawaii in 1982 and managed a travel agency in Kamuela for several years. Both of my children were born in Hawaii and I have always felt fortunate to live in the small town of Hawi in the district of North Kohala on the Big Island.

Operations Manager of a local grocery store in Hawi for 18 years, I have also worked as a substitute teacher in the public schools in North Kohala, started my own grocery delivery business to condo and homeowners in the resort areas and been a bookkeeper for an online website. After purchasing an investment property in California, and assisting my daughter in purchasing her first home, I became very interested in real estate as a career and got my Hawaii real estate license and am proud to say my Broker's license as well in 2020. Whether buying or selling property, I am committed to helping my clients' real estate experience be positive, productive and fun!
