O’ahu has been home for nine years since I booked a one-way ticket to earn my B.A. in Marketing at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. I’d never visited Hawai’i, but constantly found myself yearning for the adventure and vibrant energy this community has to offer. My instincts proved true - Mother Nature has outdone herself with these surreal islands and I will forever be mesmerized. However, my roots stem from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where my childhood was filled with skiing, hiking, whitewater rafting, and competitive volleyball. Assimilating into the island lifestyle was quite effortless; it’s rejuvenating to meet so many like-minded individuals. The local communities truly reflect the islands themselves ~ radiating with ALOHA.
In my spare time you’ll find me covered in soil lost in our garden, hiking the endless Hawaiian trails, doing yoga around town, or in the kitchen, cooking away. I’m passionate about travel, sustainability, and an all-around healthy lifestyle. My happiness spurs from doing the simple things with those I love and immersing ourselves into nature. I continuously strive for personal growth, new experiences, and a greater awareness.
