Growing up, I thought for some reason that people could be either a ballerina or a baseball player when they grew up. Given these limited career choices and being a little girl who loved all things pink, I decided I would have to be a ballerina. Well, things didn’t work out that way as I eventually realized ballet was probably not for me and the world was wide open and I could be anything I wanted to be. Little did I know my natural strengths and inclinations would lead me to helping people achieve their real estate goals in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
So how did I get here? After being left as a baby at a police station in Korea, I was adopted and raised by a loving family in Minnesota who embraced me in all ways and gave me the chance for a life with possibility and opportunity. Snow and Cold were the operative words in MN for much of every year and I always dreamed of visiting a warm, tropical paradise. A 2-week vacation to Maui in my 20’s planted the seed to move to Maui – fast forward 20 years and I am blessed and so fortunate to call Maui home for all of these years.
From earlier days of telemarketing and retail sales to corporate account sales with a major cellular provider, I was a consistent top performer with my desire and ability to determine clients’ needs, provide exceptional service, and deliver. It was a natural move for me into real estate. As a genuine people-person, I quickly found meaning in what I do by helping others fulfill their dreams and goals in selling and buying Maui real estate. There is no better feeling than when clients tell me, “You changed our lives!” or “You went way above and beyond” and I know they are thrilled with both my services and their real estate transaction.
Curious to hear from someone who has been privy to my real estate career, I recently asked a close colleague what they think makes me a good Realtor and they said, “You’re honest, a great negotiator, you’re meticulous and pay attention to the details, you’re personable and enjoy helping people, and you’re a good listener and figure out what people want rather than what you think they want. Your clients trust you.”
In addition to being a Maui Realtor, my Hawaii Life includes lots of hiking, traveling, a healthy lifestyle and enjoying the great outdoors, reading, sunsets, and a good Mai Tai. Whether your Hawaii Life involves selling or buying, I’m honored to offer you my enthusiasm for success, extensive market and industry knowledge, and uncompromising service in representing your best interests with your Maui real estate.
