Betty Jean Arias

Aloha from the beautiful Island of Hawaii. Born in small town Kohala, grew up on the green side of Waimea during my quiet and delighted childhood years, and now resides in the up and coming Waikoloa Village with my beautiful family and my lovable fur baby, Cocoa.

Real estate has been my passion as I came to admire the most treasured, a family and a home. I am fortunate to build that dream with Hawaii Life. Hawaii Life shares the love of the islands, stays true to the Aloha spirit, and dedicates giving back to our community and families. With my 15 years in sales in the events and meeting industry, it has provided me with endless appreciable experiences, expanding skill sets and most priceless and lasting friendships.

One of my greatest joys is helping my clients achieve their dreams of buying or selling their perfect home here in Hawai’i. It is my commitment to serve my clients to the best of my ability but also to educate them throughout the home buying or selling process to make the best decision possible.

Having a deep appreciation for Hawaii’s natural beauty, I enjoy nature. I take great pleasure being outdoors, enjoy playing tennis, yoga, hula, mountain bike through local terrain trails with my family, and trying out new recipes in my kitchen.

A beautiful life is the true spirit of Aloha, meaningful friendships, the essence of giving back to others, and sharing our graceful and rich culture of Hawaii’s history and lifestyle. I look forward to serving you every step of the way for your real estate needs!

What my clients are saying...

From start to finish, Betty Jean was nothing short of exceptional—articulate, thorough, responsive, empathetic, and just an all around pleasure to do business with! Anyone would be lucky to work with someone as diligent and detail-oriented as Betty. But even more so, to work with someone who has such a big heart, made working with Betty an absolute blessing. Betty Jean made our home buying experience as enjoyable, clear, and simple as possible. This was such a huge decision for us, especially because we were making our final move back home from the continent and there were many logistics to work through. Betty handled each and every one like a pro and anticipated problems before they ever became an issue for us! She never made us feel bad or embarrassed for the many questions we asked along the way. Betty, thank you for being the perfect example of professionalism and poise. You are awesome and anyone would be lucky to work with you! Aloha

Situation: My husband and I sold a rental property in Alaska under a 1031 exchange with the hope of purchasing a replacement property in Waikoloa Village, Hawaii.

Problem: We were attempting to complete this transaction long distance from Alaska.

Solution: To find a competent and trustworthy realtor that would become our (the buyers’) advocate, guiding us through this detailed and daunting process.

And find her we did! We feel very grateful to Betty Jean Arias and for her outstanding service. Two days before arriving on the island, the condo property we exchanged for had closed and recorded, ready for us to move into. (We are making some minor renovations to it prior to listing it in Airbnb.)

Being long distance, all of our communication with Betty Jean was by text, email, and cell phone. Right away, we were impressed with her friendly, confident, and enthusiastic demeanor. She was attentive and responsive to our needs, very willing to take and send us pictures and videos, and find answers to our questions. Her understanding of the local housing market was helpful as we chose a property and then negotiated a fair deal. Once there was a signed contract, we appreciated Betty Jean’s attention to detail as she guided us step by step through the process to closing. There were many other players in this process (such as the broker, the escrow company, the home inspector); Betty Jean’s networking abilities were helpful as she introduced us to these professionals and coordinated the process between these people. She was willing to be on site for us as needed, since we were not on the island. She did whatever was necessary to ensure a smooth transition.

Mahalo, Betty Jean Arias! You helped us make our dream of owning a property in Hawaii become a reality.
