I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and at age 24, I decided to quit a Mechanical Engineering University Program to travel and pursue my passion for surfing. After spending 2 years in California, my passion for surfing brought me to Maui in September 1995. After a couple of surf trips to Maui, I decided to move here in April 1996.
Prior to becoming a full time agent in 2007, I spent 2 years managing vacation rentals properties at Maui Condo & Home, a branch company of Aston Resorts, which gave me a solid foundation in resort properties as well as inventory knowledge of vacation rental condominiums in South Maui. I focus on South Maui real estate, but I have successfully represented clients purchasing and selling properties in other areas of Maui. In 2022, I had the honor of receiving the Realtor of the Year award from my peers for my dedication to the profession and contribution to our community. It was definitely a highlight of my career!
At the start of 2025, I embraced the role of Broker-in-Charge (BIC) on Maui, continuing to support our agents and clients with the aloha spirit and expertise that define Hawai‘i Life. My focus is on expanding our presence on Maui while supporting our agents, fostering strong relationships, growth, and success across our incredible team.
I used to be a long time Kihei resident, but recently moved to Olinda in the upcountry area of Maui. I live with my wife, Farel, our two sons, Ian and Noah and two Australian Shepherds named Kaya and River. We recently added two cats, three dwarf goats and a flock of chickens to our small farm :)
During my leisure time you can find me surfing, paddle boarding, running the Hana relay race, playing coed soccer, mountain biking, off-road riding on my motorcycle or spending time with family and friends. I just completed my first triathlon in 2016; I finished TriLanai, which is a sprint triathlon on Lanai island that brings people from all the other islands and mainland together. I beat my goal and finished in just under 2 hours :) I used to coach and ref youth soccer, which was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done; I loved sharing my passion for soccer and watching kids improve was just awesome!
With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I’ve honed my ability to anticipate client needs, provide exceptional service, and position them for success in negotiations—all with a commitment to exceeding expectations. At Hawai‘i Life, I extend this same dedication to supporting our agents, empowering them to grow and thrive while delivering unbeatable service to clients.
