Kohala Ranch home sales up 60%

Kohala Ranch home sales are up  60%  in 2016 over 2015. To put this into perspective; in 2015 there were 9 homes sold in Kohala Ranch and in 2016 there have been 14 sales to date.  There are no pending sales at this time.

The size and price range of this years home sales varies  from $880,000 for a 2230 sq. ft. home on 3.5 acres in the Meadows to $2.7m for a 4590 sq. ft. home on 11.7 acres in the Summit.  Notably Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers represented clients in 5 of those 14 sales; 4 of which were the highest sales in the Ranch throughout the year, including the beautiful huge barn & 17,000 sq. ft indoor arena on 35 acres at the top of the summit commonly referred to as “The Gentry Property” in respect to the original owner/builder.

There are 10 homes for sale at this time in Kohala Ranch ranging from $868,000 for a 2144 sq. ft home on 3 acres in the Meadows (MLS #296118) to  a 7,891 sq. ft home on 5 acres in the Meadows priced at $3,690,000  (MLS #294033).

 

The allure of Kohala ranch:

Location; 2 short miles past the Kawaihae Harbor and with the only development that accesses both the Mtn. Rd which connects North Kohala to Waimea  and the lower gate on Akone Pule Hwy for easy access to the area beaches, hotels, and hwy to Kona.
