Are You Ready to Live the Hawaii Life?

It’s that time of year again, where HGTV will soon be casting for their next season of Hawaii Life. Our show will be coming up on Season 6, and Hawaii Life has been fortunate enough to acquire an enormous HGTV viewership to support future episodes. We work with a wonderful team of producers from HGTV and Left/Right, and while it is a lot of work to film, it’s tons of fun too!

HGTV casts buyers who desire to live the Hawaii lifestyle, because for our company it’s not just about the number of beds and bathrooms. Yes, it is expensive to live in this beautiful state, let alone buy property here; however, for a lot of folks, it’s worth it to have year-round fabulous weather that provides them the opportunity to do outdoor activities at any time.

I was born and raised on Oahu, so at times I have certainly taken this lifestyle for granted. I did live in Illinois for 2 years, so I experienced their hot and humid summers in addition to the freezing and windy winters. Okay, I must confess that I came back to Hawaii for months at a time during those summers and winter months, but when I moved back to Hawaii for good, I had a fresh sense of appreciation for the islands.

Dear Cathy:

I almost declined thinking about purchasing 222 Keoawa Street, Lahaina, Maui, HI, 96761 in the near future when I can muster the resources within two or so months. Septic sewer. I don’t have the slightest idea what “septic sewer” means. If I have two large pools (one indoor and one outdoor and a spa) on six acres, what does that mean? How does the masses of water affect the septic sewer system? Do you know of a real expert who can assist me decide how much work is involved in having workers make sure that it is in excellent working conditions at all times because you lived in Oahu where there is forest areas. I am too embarrassed to ask my male friend who seems to know every topic on this planet. He’s more than gifted, he’s a walking encyclopedia, but a pain in the ass when one humiliates one’s self to him about a technical issue. I never thought about earthquakes, but how does after shocks affect the septic sewer? Lastly, I had collected gardening books and hoped that one day, with others, I would create a mini Monet garden on a lot of land similar to four of the six and a half acres on this property in memory of my deceased mother who was tortured to death by State of Arizona, City of Phoenix, City Hall, Neighborhood Services Department personnel and three of four mayors that think they don’t have to compensate my family with just compensation for destroying our historical home and the wrongful death of my mother among other legal issues, but I am not here to bitch about white collar criminals. My mother, Mary Steinmetz was a military courts and board stenographer with a steno pad and not a mere black steno machine. She was also a medical secretary for a man that operated West Point Academy and one of the founding fathers of the American Sports Medicine, Dr. John Feagin. I think that is how one would spell it, so I have a sense of your husband’s line of work. My uncle was accepted to West Point, too. I have never told anybody, but I still have guilt that I persuaded my mother to move to Phoenix, AZ instead of going with her boss to West Point Academy because she may have still be alive. My mother would have been 83 years old instead of leaving us at 79.
