Hyundai Tournament of Champions to Begin in Kapalua, Maui (January 2014)

Ready for some golf? Do you have plans to travel to Maui early January? Be sure to make a point to attend the first official PGA tournament of the year. It is also known as the Tournament of Champions. The field is comprised of previous winners from the year 2013. Dustin Johnson is the defending champion. The following week the golfers will then move over to Oahu to the Sony Open.

2014 Hyundai Tournament of Champions

The Maui tournament this year will run from Jan. 3 to Jan. 6, 2014 (Friday-Monday). The tournament will be held at the incredible Plantation Golf Course in Kapalua, Maui. All times and schedules will be subject to weather.

Thursday, January 2, is the Pro-Am tournament, which offers free admission. That is the best day to attend if you want to get pictures and autographs.

Parking & Shuttle Service

• There will be free parking at the Honua Kai Resort in Kaanapali and you can take the free shuttle to the golf course.
• There also will be a free shuttle service from Whalers Village on Sunday and Monday.
