Talk Story #34 – Waikiki Beach Sand Soon to be Replenished

Even the Maui News Now is talking about our famous Waikiki Beach getting its sand back! Yes, finally after months of wondering when this would happen, we will be avidly watching the state-of-the-art procedure of blowing in sand from the ocean these next 3 months or so.

About 1,730 feet of shoreline will be restored from the popular Kuhio Beach where the Duke Kahanamoku statue is, along in front of the iconic Moana Surfrider and Royal Hawaiian Hotels, toward the beautiful Halekalani Hotel.

Throngs enjoy the sunny area called Waikiki on the island of Oahu. Come to Hawaii and see for yourself a way to live and work and enjoy what is here.
