Grgich Hills Estate Wine Dinner at Manta, Mauna Kea Resort – October 28, 2011

One of the best parts about living on the Big Island’s Kohala Coast is that everyone LOVES to come visit Hawaii, including winemakers!

The Mauna Kea Resort is world-renown for its laid back, but utterly perfect, Hawaiian-culturally-based service. Manta, their signature restaurant (which overlooks the bay where Manta Rays are attracted to the lights at night), is a place where most kama’aina and visitors alike return again and again for its fresh local food and innovative wine tasting.

Just look at the menu for the Grgich Hills Estate wine tasting dinner coming up on Friday, October 28th!! Hawaiian Octopus (tako), really? An ahi sashimi “pizzette?” Yum! Time to sign up, already!! See you there!!

Manta, at the Mauna Kea Resort, has pour-it-yourself wine tasting dispensers in the bar area
