Waikiki was used again as the backdrop for the opening murder scene in a hotel. Don’t worry, this doesn’t really happen in real life. The Five-O Team get some leads which takes them to a superhero convention shot at the Hawaii Convention Center.
It turns out, the victim just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Someone was actually breaking into the hotel room to get back something that was very important to them. When they confront a career burglar that was traced to the hotel, they ransack his stolen goods to find out what was so important.
A video tape featuring a prominent local business man was uncovered that linked him to another unsolved murder. Chin Ho and Kono go to his home in Kahala to question his wife.
