Living the Hawaii Surfer's Life at a Puako Beach Home

Getting into the beautiful Pacific Ocean every morning energizes me for the whole day!

Body boarding (yep, that’s me on the left) before work at Paniau, Puako Beach, on 1/11/11

I am inspired by the ocean, and that’s what motivates me to help clients establish their own Hawaii lifestyle! Growing up as a Southern California surfer girl, I spent my childhood in Laguna Beach and at San Onofre.

I have always loved and lived for the water. I moved to Hawaii so I could surf, swim, snorkel, and do it in a bikini rather than a wetsuit (which I was wearing in Morro Bay in 62 degree water). I love family, friends, real estate, the ocean, waves, chocolate, and time to enjoy it all on the Big Island!

Puako, Hapuna, and 69 beaches are my favorites, and all within a short drive of anywhere on the Kohala Coast. Some of my ‘ohana surf Lighthouse in North Kohala and even tow-in off the point. And then, of course there’s Pine Trees, located close to Kona and Kukio, and Hualalai resorts. I’d love to tell you what makes living here so fantastic. There is nothing more gratifying than sharing what you love.

Down the street from Paniau Beach! Puako cottage for sale at $1M (MLS# 240224)

Walk across the street from this charming beach home for sale and hop into the water to surf “Secrets” at Puako Beach. It’s winter, surf was charging last week.

Will you be here the next time surf’s up?

Thanks Jan, for hooking me up with a board and surfing with me at Puako… It was a treat for sure. The water is so clear on the BI, and what an awesome sunset with whales splashing. Awesome.

It was so much fun to share my “home break” with you, more waves in the near future!
I have been so busy with buyers, it was a treat to get out & enjoy the water, thank you!
It is epic surf here right now, I surfed at Kawaihae breakwall Sunday, outside was crazy, probabaly 12 solid with bigger sets every 10 minutes!!
Next I will come to Kauai and surf Hanalei with you…love Kauai, too!

Aloha Tara,
Thanks for the kudos, there is nothing like a beautiful day in the water at Paniau!
Come down sometime and catch an evening session, watch the sunset & whales, seems too good to be real sometimes!
See you soon!
