Ka Milo at Mauna Lani Under Construction Once Again

Ka Milo has begun the next phase of construction of their golf fronting homes. They are offering pre-sale pricing on the Makani floor plan which is currently framed and in a flurry of activity. The 2,491 sq. ft. (per developers plans) is priced at $1,330,000 (MLS# 241420).

As this Brookfield Development Company has recently joined forces with Alexander Baldwin, a mega Hawaiian development company formed in the mid-1800s, there should not be any “financial hiccups” in the future of the Ka Milo project. This will be a great peace of mind to the homeowners who have weathered the storm of uncertainty and prospective buyers who were cautious during the pre-foreclosure phase last year.

Not to spend too much time on the past problems…as I fully expect they are indeed on the upswing, now is a wonderful time to invest in this golf course community with one of the best amenity centers on the island boasting over 2 acres with a lagoon-style pool and hot tub as well as a state of the art (oh, I hate that term, but it’s true) workout hale and adult lap pool.

The pre-construction pricing starts at $799,000 for a two bedroom paired home up to $1,430,000 for a detached single story residence of over 2,100 sq. ft. Each of the Ka Milo homes offer a full two car garage and beautiful cabinets and finishes, and can be customized!

There are, however, two remaining homes in Ka Milo standing remaining from the first phase: A 4 bedroom (Hoku A) two story paired home partially furnished (staged) priced at $699,000 (MLS# 235991), and a 3 bedroom (Mahina) with reverse living floor plan of a generous 2,491 sq. ft. which is priced at $899,000, and is currently being used as the model and offers a lease back from the developer for guaranteed income (call me for details).

It’s great to see the progress once again underway in the resort. New construction brings hope that we are…near the end of the recession!?

Living and loving the resort life!

Thanks, Pam for another informative post. I had not known the detail about the developer offering a leaseback on that upgraded Mahina unit. That’s a super advantage for the right buyer!

I wanted to thank you and Beth for your assitance in helping my wife and I purchase a kamilo unit. You guys were really great to work with and I felt confident with your help that the short sale would close. Thanks !!!!

Kamilo is a very well planned out development and I feel fortunate to have bought into the project at a great price.
