I made the life-changing move to Maui in 1978, where I quickly decided to transition into real estate and became a licensed agent. Just two years later, I earned my Broker’s license, launching into a career that has been defined by a reputation built on integrity, knowledge, and experience.

With over four decades in the industry, I have served in various capacities, including a 20-year tenure as the Professional Standards & Arbitration Chairperson. My commitment to upholding ethical practices and high standards earned me the Special Recognition Award in 2010, and I was named Realtor of the Year in 2013. My career is defined by an unyielding dedication to my clients, always striving to provide expert guidance and personalized service.

I find experience to be the best teacher.
In 48 yrs, my work has taken me through Developer & Commercial sales, long term lease negotiations & sales of established businesses. All of which were beyond the scope of residential real estate. Each transaction required a different strategy to get a "YES." I also attribute my success to my 20 yrs chairing the Professional Standards & Arbitration Committee for the Maui Board of Realtors. I served effectively as the judge in disputes between Realtors and/or Realtors vs a member of the General Public. That role taught me how to handle high-pressure & emotional situations, present facts clearly & concisely, defend a position, and address objections. All of these skills have enabled me to better serve my clientele under all circumstances. As an example: When they built the Lahaina Bypass Road, it ran through 3 of my clients properties. I was able to negotiate an acceptable resolution for all parties involved.

When I’m not helping clients find their dream homes, you’ll likely find me enjoying a game of tennis, relaxing on the golf course, or deep-sea fishing in the waters around Maui, Lanai, and Molokai. A highlight of my fishing adventures was winning the Lahaina Yacht Club Jackpot Fishing Tournament in 2015.
