A native of the Hawaiian Islands and a born entrepreneur. Before earning my Real Estate license in 2004, I co-founded and operated a local surf shop in 1993, which grew to 3 locations over my 16 years of ownership. The shops were an integral part of the Big Island community and for numerous years, consecutively earned the honor of "Best Surf Shop", by the local newspaper and its readers.
I attribute our retail success to our dedication of the businesses core foundations; Competence in Product Knowledge, Anticipation of Client's Needs, Sincerity in Service, Effective Communication and Active Listening. From these foundations, we built a clientele of loyal customers with both locals and visitors.
Real Estate has since become my prime focus, with the pillars that built our successful retail business, at the very forefront of my Real Estate career. Since 2010, I transitioned to O'ahu when our son attended Kamehameha School's Kapalama campus, allowing me to service clients in both the Big Island and O'ahu markets.
Amidst assisting my versatile clientele in achieving their Real Estate ambitions, I make the time to enjoy life; be it an ocean adventure, practicing yoga, or collaborating with my husband and son on our next family spec project. My husband is a General Contractor and our son, an aspiring Architect, working towards his Doctorate degree at the UH Manoa School of Architecture. condominium, she was the only person we considered contacting for this transaction.
Having known her for almost 20 years and knowing her professionalism, how well she
knows the islands, and her attention to detail, Nicole was the obvious person to seek out for
assistance. I reached out to her to ask her some questions regarding the real estate market
on Oahu and roughly what we could expect in terms of pricing, time on the market, and
time to close. Well I am more than happy to tell you that she exceeded expectations in all
