The A’ali’i Ward Village condos may not be ready until 2021; however, to-scale fully furnished show suites are ready for viewing. The A’ali’i is the fifth building in the Ward Village 60-acre master planned community development in Honolulu. This is the new and exciting community of condos focused on lifestyle, amenities, and beautiful living spaces. I recently booked a tour of the three A’ali’i show suites to see in real dimensions what the new A’ali’i condos will be like, and I was really impressed. Included in the tour are the 1 & 2 bedroom A’ali’i condos, and the A’ali’i studio furnished with “Smarter Living” design from Lauren Rottet.

The to-scale models are beautiful and feel like the real condos. Being able to experience a space prior to purchasing it is a unique experience with new condos. Most new condo sales are done through showrooms, where a buyer can see the cabinets, flooring materials, and bathroom fixtures. It’s rare to be able to walk through an actual model. This typically only happens with resale condos in Honolulu that a buyer can see what they are purchasing. New properties, like the condos at the A’ali’i Ward Village, are purchased sight unseens, typically based on floorplans. So having something to walk through, touch, and get a feel for, is very special. Seeing is definitely believing!
A’alii Condos Show Suite – Living Room – 2 Bedroom Corner Unit
Staged bedroom at the A’ali’i condos show suites
A’alii Ward Village condos have an assortment of podium and tower studio units. The furniture is optional in most units, but the furniture is what makes these studios so functional. With plenty of storage space and smart design that utilizes the space to it’s fullest, these studios are some of the most livable smaller spaces that I have ever seen. They actually don’t feel small at all.

With a little pull, the bed easily folds out of the wall. With a regular mattress, residents of these studios will easily get a good night’s rest. Shifting the room from day to night only takes a few seconds.

When people think of studio condos, they imagine tiny spaces and tiny kitchens. The kitchens in the A’ali’i studios are anything but — they are just as functional as they are beautiful.

Honolulu is going through an enormous transformation in the condo market. New buildings are coming up and are scheduled to be built over the next few years. Many people think of Waikiki when thinking of Oahu, but there is a new kid on the block, and that’s Kakaako. The neighborhood is a little more residential than the popular Waikiki, and it’s a lot newer. Kakaako has an amazing lifestyle, and almost all the new condos have spectacular amenities, views, and residences. The A’ali’i is no exception to this.
The 42-story building will offer:
- Outdoor pool
- Rooftop fitness studio
- Rooftop entertainment room with spectacular views
- Meeting rooms
- Children’s play areas
- BBQ areas
Amenities close to the A’ail’i include:
- Multiple world-renowned restaurants
- Community events
- Movie complex
- Ala Moana Beach Park
- Largest Whole Foods on Oahu
- Ala Moana Center
- Adjacent to the Ward Village Central Plaza park
- Future rail
