Superior Cleanliness

From experience, we know that “clean” is a relative term. Since we want all of our guests to feel safe and secure, our team takes great pride in adhering to superior cleanliness standards, even during the highest occupancy periods. Simply put, you can see, smell, and feel the difference in our portfolio. Our cleaning teams own their businesses and work collaboratively with the Stice Team. The benefit of this relationship is that these teams learn how to properly clean each of the properties that we assign them. Because the teams care for the same properties every time, they do so efficiently and thoroughly. All cleaning fees paid by our guests go to our cleaning teams directly to help them provide for their respective families — It is not a profit item for our operation.

Once a unit is designated as clean, our in-house property inspector spends roughly 30-45 minutes on each property confirming the work has been done to our standards and that any special accommodations requested by guests are complete. Additionally, the inspector will turn on all of the lights, make sure the internet connection is live, turn on the Smart TVs, and make sure that the AC is working properly (if applicable, as most but not all of our properties have AC). The inspector’s list is comprehensive, with over 65 different checkpoints for quality assurance.

We want all of our guests to feel welcome and experience the Aloha spirit when they arrive at our properties. Thus, our residences are well stocked, and each of our guests are greeted with a personal handwritten greeting card, some special Maui coffee, and local macadamia nut chocolates.

Our team represents individual owners on each of their properties (some of our clients own multiple properties here in Maui) consulting and advising the owners to ensure they are the best they can be. This means that we have clean and comfortable higher-end beds and furniture, 550 Count Pima cotton linens in new or like-new condition (we donate all stained or torn linens), and ample high-quality and matching white bath towels.

Our team provides high-quality shower, cleaning, and clothes-washing amenities. All of our properties are appropriately equipped as a home away from home with Tupperware, Ninja blenders, Tommy Bahama beach gear, etc. We don’t provide boogie boards or snorkel gear for liability and sanitation purposes which was touched on in one of our helpful blog posts, Key Amenities to a Successful Hawaii Vacation Rental Property

Timely Service with Aloha

As with any business operations, guests may request special accommodations during their stay. We can troubleshoot a number of matters over the phone and direct our guests to our available documentation to provide them with helpful onsite FAQs. We have a printed placard in each of our residences containing the most common FAQ a guest will have and links to our online property guidebooks with local insights on our host app, Hostfully.

                                                                                                                                  We love to hear from our guests that they are celebrating a special event in their lives and are happy to help put together a custom gift package for them.

In order to best serve our guests, our team keeps a supply of portable A/C units in the rare event that a central A/C goes down. We also keep a small supply of portable refrigerators or portable ovens in the rare event that an appliance suddenly decides to act up. We work with preferred professional vendors to get repairs completed as soon as possible.

Our team has one centralized phone number that streamlines and hosts all communication for texts/calls, which are responded to quickly and in a thorough manner. To best serve our guests, we also utilize two other technology platforms — Breezeway and Hostfully.

Much of the communication process with our team commences pre-booking as we regularly answer many questions via email or phone. As soon as our guests secure the property online, a booking confirmation and comprehensive arrival instructions are sent in a timely fashion. We then extend an invitation to our guests to make any special requests and or provide them with local insight for anything that they may be interested in. We also have a full-service concierge team should you be interested in this service. 

Once in-house, our entire team is at your service to assist you in any way possible.

I tried calling on the phone, but the message said to go to your website. I have one question regarding our RES#48232 Royal Kahana 1010. Are there hair dryers in this unit? There will be us 4 sisters and 1 brother-in-law.
